Fashion Friday: So Long to Summer Blues

12 Oct

Fall has arrived. In the morning I’m wearing gloves again and by the end of the day I’ve flipped my headlight on. Still, I couldn’t resist wearing this summery blue paisley dress by prAna and suede shoes from Earthies. Good thing I also wore my red trench coat and stowed rainproof booties to keep me dry from an early season rain.

About Fashion Friday: Inspired by a 2011 Bike to Work Day challenge sponsored by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, this series highlights the broad range of “dress for the destination” bicycling fashions.

    I also started layering up a little more and have been bringing my neon pink rain coat just in case like what happened last night. The darker evenings have been approaching much sooner too so I’ve had to turn my monkeylectrics along with my standard rear lights on once I leave work.

      Did you get wet last night? I did. It rained steadily the whole way from the airport to Trader Joe’s. My red coat performed well, but I nee a better solution for my hands. Leather gloves are not good in the rain.

        I had zumba after work with coworkers until 7pm so I lucked out on the rain that night. n_n;

      Thanks, sis! I think it would look good on you too. You’d just need a smaller size.

    I’ve concluded you may even have more pairs of shoes than you do bikes!!! Happy Friday!

      Oh, god yeah. Way more shoes. But the good news is that many of the ones I wear I’ve had for years. But the Earthies are new.
