Bike Commute Diaries: It Never Rains in California

03 May

It does rain, but not as much as the weatherman would have you believe. If it’s not raining in the morning I will ride, regardless of the afternoon forecast. I don’t care if it rains on the way home, where I have dry clothes and a warm shower. After two rainy seasons, I’ve only gotten wet a handful of times. This is California, after all.

Thanks. I’m sure Dan told you I ran into him on the train. He seemed surprised that I would take the extra ride up to Redwood City to take the photo.

I was pleased how it turned out. I got lucky that the sun was behind me and the wide sidewalk was pretty open and I didn’t have to wait long for a southbound train to get home.
