Fashion Friday: Long Beach Cruisin’

15 Sep

It may be September, but it’s still hot hot hot in Southern California. I scored this Nuu-Muu exercise dress at the National Women’s Bicycling Summit, the perfect swimsuit cover-up for cruising the beach in style. With pockets in the back, you can tuck away everything you need for a day in the sun. Don’t forget the sunscreen!

The super stretchy fabric of this simple A-line dress make it both comfortable and flattering. Available in sizes from XS-XXL, the dresses are particularly popular in plus-sizes. No surprise to me, I find it very slimming.

About Fashion Friday: Inspired by a 2011 Bike to Work Day challenge sponsored by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, this series highlights the broad range of “dress for the destination” bicycling fashions.

Hi Ladyfleur! It’s your Nuu-Muu friends from the bicycle conference. I can’t tell you how excited I was to open up your blog this morning and find you rocking our beautiful Violette! It really looks gorgeous on you. Be sure to check out our other colors for fall, as well. and we’ve got an amazing line of spring colors coming soon, too!

    Cheers!

Hi Chelle, I’m glad you found me. I kept forgetting to hunt down the business card Ashley Fullenwider gave me at the Women’s Bicycling Summit and email her. The dress is cute and really really comfortable. I wore it with bike shorts to a street fair after I took the photos. I didn’t want to take it off!

so actually you met me, Chelle at the conference and Ray. I only had Ashley’s cards so that’s what I gave you. I forgot to warn you that once you own a Nuu-Muu the chances of not owning several dozen becomes very difficult. :-) By the way, I absolutely am in love with your Juliette Bicycle.

Oh, and thank you for giving me the sample Nuu-Muu. I’m thinking one in a darker color for fall might be in order.
