Bike Spotting: Caution! Looooooong Load

29 May

My friend Irene saw a side-by-side tandem recumbent trike pulling another recumbent trike pulling a baby trailer pulling a flatbed trailer. The rig was carrying two garbage bags of who-knows-what plus something that looks like foam mattresses and more. It’s a good thing Irene had a camera. No one would believe her otherwise.

I saw this guy in Menlo Park recently. I also saw him without the trailers, just his trike, having a coffee with friends at Cafe Borrone.

That’s cool. I wonder where he was going with all that stuff?

…You would definitely need more than one person to pull. Or really, really fabulous legs. *impressed*

I don’t think so. Or maybe I should say I hope not. There’s a lot of stuff in that baby trailer.
