Fashion Friday: The (Not) Ugly Christmas Sweater

27 Dec

Suddenly, the ugly Christmas sweater is all the rage! There are Tipsy Elves, Rusty Zippers and Ultimate Ugly Christmas shops selling them online, and there’s even a National Ugly Sweater Day. But when you have a natural goofiness like my dear husband, you don’t need a goofy sweater. A classic argyle quarter-zip pullover in soft cotton is the perfect Christmas sweater for all-day comfort here in Northern California.

Unlike when he was 10, Dick was happy that Santa left him a new sweater and boots under the Christmas tree.

About Fashion Friday: Inspired by a 2011 Bike to Work Day challenge sponsored by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, this series highlights the broad range of “dress for the destination” bicycling fashions.
